A 26-year-old Citra man who was on probation was jailed recently for domestic violence on a pregnant woman.
Tyler Gator Preston Scott was arrested Tuesday night and charged with aggravated battery (should have known victim was pregnant) and violating his probation. He was being held on no bond and is due in court Sept. 1 at 9 a.m. to answer to the charges.
Scott is on felony supervised probation for trafficking stolen property. It started Aug. 7, 2019 and is scheduled to end June 30, 2024, a Marion County Sheriff’s Office report shows.
Scott violated one of the conditions of his probation which calls for him to “live without violating any law,” the report shows.
