Georgia man nabbed on DUI charge after found slumped over inside running vehicle

Antonio Joseph Colina

A Georgia man found himself behind bars recently after a Marion County sheriff’s deputy received reports of a reckless driver in the area of S. U.S. Hwy. 441 in Belleview.

The deputy located the vehicle in the parking lot of a closed business. The vehicle was running and its driver, 46-year-old Antonio Joseph Colina, was slumped over in the driver’s seat, a sheriff’s office report states.

A second sheriff’s deputy responded and spoke with Colina, who displayed several indicators of impairment. He eventually was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (third violation within 10 years). The Decatur, Ga. resident was released on $2,000 bond and his next court date hasn’t yet been set, jail records show.
