Theodore Cleveland Chavers, Jr.

Theodore Cleveland Chavers, Jr., 67, of Ocala, FL – October 4, 1952 – August 8, 2020. He was born to the union of Theodore Cleveland Chavers, Sr. and Ida Mae Chavers in Ocala, FL.

He received his formal education in the Marion County Public School System in Ocala, FL.

Theodore accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with United Holiness Church of Christ Deliverance Center, Inc. where he served in the Food Ministry.

Theodore was united in holy matrimony with Sheryl Peacock on May 14, 2004 in Ocala, FL.

He was employed by Skyline & Hale Enterprise as a Final Finisher and he retired from Hale in 2018.

In his leisure, he enjoyed refurbishing old cars and spending time with family.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife: Sheryl Chavers; sons: Duane (Valerie) Chavers of Atlanta, GA; Samson (Debra) Robinson and Jerome K. Robinson both of Ocala, FL; daughters: Deliah (Willie) Barner and Tasha West both of Ocala, FL; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; step parents: Willie and Dorothy Kemp of Ocala, FL; sisters: Josephine Byrd of Ocala, FL and Renee Chavers of Atlanta, GA; brothers: Joseph (Toyanne) Scott, Jr., Kenneth Scott, Kelvin Scott all of Ocala, FL, Marvin (Deanna) Scott of Orlando, FL, Joseph (Gayle) Williams, Brian Williams both of Acworth, GA and Bernard Chavers of Atlanta, GA; special aunt: Lula Delancy; aunts: Jeroline Holman, Bennie Harper and Nadine (Willie) Jones; uncles: Andrew Brown and Clifford Brown; mother-in-law: Earline Peacock; two sisters-in-law; five brothers-in-law and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.

Theodore Cleveland Chavers, Jr. departed this life on August 8, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father: Theodore Cleveland Chavers, Sr.; mother: Ida Mae Wilford; step father: Jessie Wilford; sisters: Sally Butler, Sylvia Thomas and Sherrye Hammond.
