A Marion County man was pronounced dead on arrival after a single-vehicle crash.
The 52-year-old Dunnellon man had at the wheel of a pickup truck at 5:23 p.m. Friday on County Road 328 near Meadow Wood Drive west of the Ocala International Airport when he failed to negotiate a turn. His vehicle exited the roadway and began to over turn, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. He was ejected from the vehicle. The report indicated the man had not been wearing a seatbelt.
He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
