A naked Dunnellon man was jailed last week after allegedly banging on the door of a residence and yelling about shooting someone he was arguing with.
Jerry Davis, 39, attempted to leave the residence but ended up backing into a ditch. Sheriff’s deputies made contact with Davis and noticed signs of impairment. They located some clothes for him and conducted field sobriety exercises, which Davis failed. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail.
Davis was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was being held on $2,500 bond and is due in court Oct. 1 at 8 a.m.
