College of Central Florida hosting free jobs of the future virtual event

The College of Central Florida’s Business and Technology Department will host a free event about technology skills and career pathways that will develop after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will be held online Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 12:15-2 p.m. Participants will hear about the technology skills required for almost every workplace and how what we are experiencing today builds advances in technology such as the Internet of Things, robotic process automation, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, 3-D printing, virtual reality and more.

This session will be hosted by Corinne Hoisington, professor of information systems technology for Central Virginia Community College. Those wishing to attend can register at CF.edu/BusTechEvents.

The first 25 to register and attend will receive a prize. One event participant also will be selected to receive a grand prize.
