30-year-old Ocala woman killed in single-vehicle rollover crash

A 30-year-old Ocala woman was killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Marion County.

The incident took place about 8:45 a.m. when the woman was traveling west on State Road 326, west of N.E. 40th Avenue Road, at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve. Her SUV exited the roadway with its right side on the north grass shoulder, then came back to the left when she overcorrected. The vehicle then traveled back across SR 326, entered the grass shoulder and overturned several times before traveling up an embankment, striking a fence and coming to rest on its right side, a Florida Highway Patrol report states.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics from Marion County Fire Rescue, the FHP report says.
