Marion sheriff searching for bandit who robbed delivery person at minimart

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for a bandit who recently robbed a delivery person at a Citra minimart.

The man, pictured above, on Sept. 11 robbed the milk delivery person at the Circle K at 12995 N U.S. Hwy. 441 at gunpoint. He arrived at the store in a dark-colored four-door vehicle, which is pictured at right, a sheriff’s office report states.

The man entered the store and attempted to buy a scratch-off lottery ticket. He then robbed the delivery person at gunpoint and took his wallet. But once he realized there was no cash in the wallet, he threw it back at the victim and fled the scene heading south on U.S. Hwy. 441, the report says.
