Women’s March for Justice coming to Ocala Downtown Square

The Women’s March for Justice, a nationwide event, will come to the Ocala Downtown Square this weekend.
The march will take place on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Ocala Downtown Square (1 N.E. 1st Avenue) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is a collaborative effort between the Women’s March Network national and local chapters, Youth Empower, and the Democratic Women’s Club of Citrus County.
“We are holding socially distant actions across the country to send an unmistakable message about the fierce opposition to Trump and his agenda, including his attempt to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat,” says the organization’s website.
The organizers plan to hold events across the state and nation, including demonstrations in The Villages and Gainesville.

For more information on the event, visit the Women’s March for Justice website.
