Police searching for U-Haul-driving bandit who targeted hospital construction area

Ocala Police officers are searching for a man wanted in connection with burglarizing a hospital construction area.

Ocala Police are searching for Roland Bennett in connection with several incidents, including the recent burglary of a hospital construction area. They say he’s been spotted driving the U-Haul truck pictured above around town.

Police say they are looking for Roland Bennett on multiple charges. They say he has been seen driving around town in a U-Haul truck with Arizona license tag AG57171. He is believed to have been staying at the Palms Motel on S. Pine Avenue, a report states.

Police believe Bennett recently checked out of the motel but is still in Ocala. They say he has been known to give the name Ron or Ronald Bennett.

Anyone with information about Bennett’s whereabouts or the U-Haul truck pictured above is asked to contact Detective Grady at (352) 369-7000.
