Ocala man behind bars after victims claim he threatened them with handgun

A 26-year-old Ocala man was jailed Sunday after being accused of threatening three victims with a handgun and shoving one in the chest with his forearm.

Skyler Alan Beville was located inside a residence after coming out of an attic where he had been hiding. He was taken into custody by Ocala Police officers and transported to the Marion County Jail.

Beville was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill and battery (second or subsequent offense dating violence). His bond also was revoked on past charges of grand theft of a motor vehicle and resisting an officer without violence. He was being held on $13,500 bond and is due in court Dec. 8 at 9 a.m., jail records show.
