Phone calls from Santa available for Ocala/Marion County kids ages 3 to 13

The popular “Santa’s Calling” is returning for the holiday season.

Coordinated by the City of Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, the program offers a unique opportunity for children in Ocala/Marion County to talk directly to Santa and Mrs. Claus at the North Pole ahead of the Christmas holiday.

Phone calls from Santa will be made Tuesday, Dec. 8 through Thursday, Dec. 10 between 6 and 9 p.m. nightly. The special program is only available for children ages 3 to 13.

“It has been a difficult year for families. We are thrilled to be able to partner with Santa and his elves again this year to offer a safe way for children to interact directly with Santa,” said Charles Dobson, recreation program supervisor at Lillian Bryant Community Center.

To schedule a call with Santa, fill out the application form at www.ocalafl.org/holidays. Applications must be submitted by Monday, Nov. 30.
