An Ocala man was gunned down Sunday night at a residence in Marion Oaks.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies responded to the home in the 16000 block of S.W. 34th Court Rd. around 9 p.m. after receiving a call about shots fired in a residence. When they arrived, they found a shooting victim who later was identified as 50-year-old Christopher Hallet, a report states.
The suspect, 33-year-old Neely Petrie-Blanchard, was arrested in Lowndes County, Ga. She was being held Monday night on no bond. The case remains under investigation by Major Crimes detectives from the sheriff’s office.
