An Ocala woman found herself behind bars recently after Marion County sheriff’s deputies received a call about a possible impaired driver.
A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by 35-year-old Mandy Anderson in the 5400 block of S.E. 58th Avenue. The deputy’s investigation revealed that Anderson was in possession of THC oil and she was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, a sheriff’s office report states.
Anderson was taken into custody and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription. She was later released on $3,000 bond and is due in court Dec. 15 at 9 a.m., jail records show.
