Ocala partners with software company to streamline growth management processes

The City of Ocala has partnered with an Orlando company to streamline growth management processes.

The deal is with Orange Lien Data LLC (Orange Lien) to handle all inquiries related to code enforcement liens and cases, open building permits, overdue fees for false police and fire alarms, and unpaid utility accounts/liens. The new software will launch Monday, Nov. 30 and will provide the most up-to-date and efficient information to citizens.

Using Orange Lien Data’s MuniConnect software, a resident will receive a comprehensive report addressing these items, eliminating the need to contact city staff.

Citizens will need to set up an account with Orange Lien Data by logging into www.orangelien.com. Once an account has been established, a report can be requested concerning properties within the City of Ocala or Ocala Electric Utility Service Area. Each report costs $62.50 to be paid directly to Orange Lien.

“If additional information is needed concerning the items identified in a report, citizens will be able to contact city staff at no additional cost,” says Tye Chighizola, Ocala Growth Management director. “The Orange Lien Data report will decrease the amount of time it takes to research various city software systems and eliminate the need to contact multiple city departments.”

For more information, contact the City of Ocala Growth Management Department at (352) 629-8309 or contact Orange Lien Data at (407) 965-4245 or via email at info@orangelien.com.
