An Ocala woman was arrested recently after she admitted she shoved a man who made a comment about her father during an argument over money.
Precious Joy Elizabeth Hilbert, 23, of SE 39th Street, told a Marion County sheriff’s deputy the victim called her father a bitch and she pushed him, causing him to lose his balance and knock over a TV in the living room. She said this is all that took place, according to the sheriff’s office report.
The deputy asked the victim if Hilbert pushed him and he said she did. Hilbert was arrested and charged with simple domestic battery. A records check showed she has no prior battery convictions, the report said.
Hilbert was taken to the Marion County Jail, where she was released on $1 cash bond. She’ll appear in Marion County Court on Feb. 9, 2021.
