‘Who Gives a Hoot’ owl class coming to Fort King National Historic Landmark

A Who Gives a Hoot owl class is coming to Fort King National Historic Landmark.

The program, which is being hosted by the Ocala Recreation and Parks Department, will take place on Friday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Fort King National Historic Landmark and Visitor Center (3925 E Fort King Street).

Attendees will learn about the magnificent birds of prey and discover which owls can be found in a backyard.

Participants will get to learn owl calling and even dissect an owl pellet. All ages 6 through 16 are welcome to attend and the program cost is $15.
