Holiday schedule won’t affect residential trash pickup in Ocala

City of Ocala business offices will be closed Thursday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 25 in observance of Christmas. Additionally, offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 in observance of New Year’s Day. During these business office closures, there will be no changes to the residential sanitation schedule.

Commercial sanitation collection regularly scheduled for Friday, Dec. 25 will experience a one-day delay and will take place Saturday, Dec. 26.  Normal commercial operations will resume Monday, Dec. 28.

Commercial sanitation collection will take place as scheduled Friday, Jan. 1.

Waste Pro recycling collection for City of Ocala residents will remain as scheduled Monday through Thursday during the holiday season, with no changes in the schedule.
