New Year’s Day closure won’t affect residential trash pickup in Ocala

City of Ocala business offices will be closed Friday, Jan. 1 in observance of New Year’s Day there will be no changes to the residential sanitation schedule.

Commercial sanitation collection will take place as scheduled Jan. 1.

Waste Pro recycling collection for City of Ocala residents will remain as scheduled Monday through Thursday during the holiday season, with no changes in the schedule.
