Clyreatha Diane Jones Baker, 65, of Ocala, FL was born on September 22, 1955 to Herman and Luebertha Jones and passed away on January 4, 2021.
Clyreatha was educated in the public schools of Marion County, graduating from North Marion High School with the Class of 1973.
She accepted Christ as her Savoir at an early age and was united with Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church where she was a choir member and President and a member of the Kitchen Committee.
On May 14, 1993, Clyreatha, was united in Holy Matrimony to Henry Baker in Ocala, FL. They spent a total of 44 years together before she answered the call of the Master to come home. Their union was blessed with 2 children.
As a professional, Clyreatha was employed with State of Florida ARC and Department of Corrections as a CNA and Corrections Officer. She retired after 28 years of service.
Her hobbies include, traveling, her grandchildren, good food, cooking, shopping, sewing, music, helping and feeding everyone.
Survivors: Husband-Henry Baker, Sons- Kyrone Jones, Sr. and Taegren (Lakeya) Jones, Sr., Grandchildren – Kyrone Jones, Jr, Tyrell Chisolm, Jazlyn Chisolm, Taegren Jones, Jr, Zaiden Jones, Nya Jones, Mya Jones. Stepchildren – Bonita (Wallace), Derrick, Tijauna, Sharon, Henry, Jr., Shantel, Christopher, Shannon and Ballie. Siblings Christine Frazier, Lula Jones, Anthony Jones, Earl Jones, Valerie Jones, Herma Lee (Wesley) Baker, Sherlene (Earl) Simmons, Herman (Viola) Jones, Wendell Jones, Darrell (Natonya) Jones, Gwendolyn (David) Gadson, Latresa Jones and Michael Jones. Godson Ty’kerion Pierson. Aunts – Betty Lovett, Louise Frazier, Laverne Frazier and Gereline Gainey. Uncles – Odell Jones, Freddie (Karen) Jones, Henry (Helen) Frazier, Morris (Stella) Frazier, Eddie Frazier and Clarence Frazier. Special Cousins – Debra Jones Hendrix and Cynthia Lane. Special Friends – Marguerite Brown and Sandra Lewis Bradshaw, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and acquaintances. She was preceded in death by Parents – Herman and Luebertha Jones, Sister – Margerta Brown, Brothers – Herman Jones Jr. and Jillette Jones.
