Muriel Frances Hannon-Marucci, 93 of Ocala, FL passed away on Saturday, Jan 9, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born in New York City, NY and moved here in 1995 from NY. Muriel was a Korean US Army veteran and a member of the American Legion, and was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She retired as a personal consultant in the finance industry. Muriel enjoyed traveling and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Anthony Marucci and her step children Laura Marucci-Castro, Anthony Marucci and Donna Torres.
The family will be having calling hours on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at the Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home, 9695 SW 110th Street, during this time the family asks that you social distance during the calling hours and please wear a mask. The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church at 8:30 am, also during this time if you could social distance in the church. The family will have the burial at Highland Memorial Park at 10am with the Army presenting honors to the family.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Hospice in memory of Muriel.
