Man sought in road rage incident identified after Marion sheriff’s Facebook post

Shelby Leonard Frazier

A man who is being sought in a recent road rage incident has been identified.

Earlier this month, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office put a post on its Facebook page asking for help in identifying a man who pulled into a gas station with a baseball bat and attacked two women following a road rage incident. An article about the wanted attacker also was posted on Ocala-News.com.

A short time later, the man was identified as Shelby Leonard Frazier, who now has warrants for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.

The sheriff’s office is now asking for help in locating Frazier. Anyone with information about him or his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Marion County at (352) 368-STOP (7867) and reference 21-01 in your tip.
