Annual ARC art exhibit opening Jan. 29 in first floor lobby of Ocala City Hall

An annual art exhibit will be opening soon in the first floor lobby of Ocala City Hall.

“ARC in the Arts” will begin Friday, Jan. 29, 8 a.m. at City Hall, located at 110 SE Watula Ave. The free exhibit will be on display through Monday, March 22, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Due to COIVD-19 precautionary measures, there will be no opening reception.

Visitors to City Hall will be able to experience the range of artwork created by those in Adult Day Training program at ARC Marion Inc. The Advocacy Resource Center (ARC) of Marion County creates opportunities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live, work and play to their fullest abilities. Adults in the Adult Day Training program can express themselves through art and each piece is a unique reflection of the individual.
