Ocala woman jailed after tiff with gal pal over being ‘stuck in Marion County’

Ashley Agrippa

An Ocala woman was jailed recently after a nasty tiff with her lady friend over where they live and being “stuck in Marion County.”

The victim said she told 31-year-old Ashley Agrippa to get out of her room and she started yelling at her. She said she made Agrippa a sandwich to calm her down but she had an issue with that as well and started yelling at her again, a sheriff’s office report states.

The victim said she went to lay on her bed and Agrippa threw an unknown object that struck her in the back. She said Agrippa also punched her in the head multiple times, pushed her to the ground and laid on top of her so she couldn’t get up, the report says, adding that the victim eventually was able to call 911 for help.

Agrippa told deputies that she didn’t remember what happened between her and the victim, only that she had a verbal and physical altercation. She said she had a verbal altercation with the victim over their living situation and said the food she made for her was undercooked, so she told her she didn’t want it, the report says, adding that the victim had multiple swollen lumps on her forehead.

Agrippa said she then had a panic attack and couldn’t find her inhaler. She said she started throwing things in the victim’s room while looking for her inhaler and accidentally hit her with an ice bucket, though she didn’t remember anything that happened after that, according to the report.

Agrippa, who lives on S.W. 87th Court in Ocala, was taken into custody and booked into the Marion County Jail, where she was charged with domestic battery. She was released early Wednesday morning on $500 bond and is due in court Feb. 19 at 9 a.m., jail records show.
