Ocala Police searching for shooters who targeted apartment with mom and 5 kids

The Ocala Police Department is searching for suspects who fired shots early Tuesday morning into an apartment occupied by a single mother and her five children.

Ocala Police detectives are searching for suspects who fired shots into an apartment at the Sutton Place Apartments where a single mother and her five children live.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. at the Sutton Place Apartments. Two windows were struck by bullets, which entered rooms where some of the children were sleeping, an Ocala Police report states.

Detective Erik Cabrales is seeking assistance in identifying the shooters. Anyone with information is asked to call him at (352) 369-7189.
