Marion sheriff seeks help in nabbing bandits who ripped off dirt bikes in Belleview

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is seeking helping in recovering dirt bikes that were stolen last month from a Belleview residence.

Marion County sheriff’s deputies are searching for the thieves who recently stole three dirt bikes from a Belleview residence.

The motorcycles were taken some time in the late-night hours of Feb. 22-23 from a home in the 12300 block of S.E. 55th Avenue Rd. The dirt bikes have been described as a blue 2013 Yamaha 250cc and two orange KTMs (2016 model and 2017 model). Anyone who sees those listed for sale or knows someone who recently acquired dirt bikes matching these descriptions is being asked to contact the sheriff’s office at (352) 732-9111.
