Woods, speaking during his regular “Wanted by Woods Wednesday” segment on Facebook, asked for assistance in finding Javorise Watkins, who is accused of a recent robbery at a Circle K gas station on Maricamp Road. Woods said Watkins and an accomplice put a victim in a headlock position and robbed him of his wallet, phone, cash and credit cards.

“Mr. Watkins, I see you are no stranger to my jail, so I’m going to assume you won’t do the right thing and turn yourself in,” Woods said. “But we will find you. I will not have individuals like you wondering around my county robbing and hurting my citizens.”

Anyone with information about the crime or Watkins’ whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Marion County at (352) 368-STOP (7867) and reference 21-24 in your tip. If you use Crime Stoppers and your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
