A Dunnellon man found himself behind bars recently after deputies stopped his vehicle on S. U.S. Hwy. 41.

Kyle Steven Donnelly, 33, was wanted in connection with a battery he allegedly had committed on April 1. He was placed under arrest for the battery and deputies located a variety of drugs – Alprazolam, Oxycodone, cocaine, THC oil, Suboxone and marijuana – and drug paraphernalia in his vehicle, a sheriff’s office report states.

After Donnelly admitted ownership of the drugs and paraphernalia, he was transported to the Marion County Jail and charged with possession of Alprazolam, possession of Oxycodone, possession of cocaine, possession of THC oil, possession of Suboxone, possession of marijuana less than 20 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and simple domestic battery. He was being held on $10,500 bond and is due in court May 4 to answer to the charge, jail records show.
