Jonathan was born in Ocala, Florida on June 4, 1995 to Teresa Manning-Watkins and Jonathan L. Watkins and passed away April 17, 2021.
He was a 2013 graduate of Lake Weir High School in Candler, Florida where he participated in football, weight lifting, and tack and field. Later in life he was a correctional officer and from there he joined the Army Reserves. In 2020 he began working at Primus Pipe & Tube. In 2021 he became a student at Lake-Sumter Community College pursuing a certificate in the Electrical Apprentice field.
Jonathan was baptized at an early age. He regularly attended services at Faith, Hope, and Charity Anointed Church of The Living God in Summerfield, Florida.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, agriculture, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving parents: Teresa Manning Watkins and Jonathan L. Watkins of Belleview, Florida; Grandparents: J.C. (Angela) Manning of Sparr, Fl; Brother: Aaron (Radezja) Watkins of Belleview, FL; Sisters: Shawntanika Watkins of Summerfield, FL; Shermonica (Eric) Shuler of Williston, FL; Crystal (Tristan) Goodin of Union City, GA; Sharonda (Timothy) Young of Williston, FL; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
