Richard Dunphy, age 82, went home to be with his Lord on May 7, 2021 surrounded by family in Ocala, Florida. Richard was born on December 19, 1938 in New York, New York and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Richard moved his family to Ocala in 1974.
He was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for various industrial enterprises in the Ocala area, retiring from Custom Window Systems in 2005.
Richard will be remembered fondly by friends and family as a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed fixing, tinkering and repurposing any item. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Martin Dunphy, Mother, Mary Dunphy and Son, Scott Edward Dunphy.
Richard is survived by Sheila, his Wife of 53 years, Daughter Durene Lambert, Daughter Jaime McLaughlin as well as 4 grandsons: Michael, Colin, Alex and Brendan.
Richard will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
