Ocala motorists can expect closures along S.E. 13th Street beginning May 14

Ocala motorists can expect upcoming road closures to accommodate improvements to stormwater systems.

The work will be taking place on S.E. 13th Street, which will be closed from S.E. 38th Avenue to S.E. 38th Court, effective immediately. The project is expected to be completed by Friday, May 14.

All necessary devices will be in place to redirect traffic. Construction will take place Mondays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. During construction times, travelers may experience delays, noise, dust and heavy equipment within the project area.

Detour routes include:

• Eastbound Detour: Right onto S.E. 38th Avenue, left onto S.E. 15th Street, left onto S.E. 38th Court, back onto SE 13th Street.
• Westbound Detour: Left onto S.E. 38th Court, right onto S.E. 15th Street, right onto S.E. 38th Avenue, back onto SE 13th Street.
