A jealous pizza-throwing Ocala woman found herself behind bars recently after accusing her man friend of letting another woman make a purchase with his debit card.

Kara Leann Adcock, 26, told Marion County sheriff’s deputies that she was arguing with the victim over a purchase on his debit card. She said he was sitting in a chair across the room and screaming at her, so she grabbed a piece of pizza from an open box and tossed it at him, hitting him on the lap, a sheriff’s office report stats.

Adcock said the victim stood up and slapped her right check and neck with an open palm, so she called law enforcement for help. Deputies didn’t notice any redness or marks on Adcock’s cheek or neck area, the report states.

The victim told deputies that Adcock verbally attacked him over a food purchase made with his debit card. He said he hadn’t given his debit card to anyone else and attempted to explain the purchase to Adcock. But he claimed she wouldn’t listen to him and threw a piece of pizza at him “with force,” which hit his chest and fell to his lap, the report says, adding that the victim then left the residence.

Adcock was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail, where she was charged with domestic battery. She was released on her own recognizance and is due in court June 15 at 9:30 a.m., jail records show.
