The Appleton Art Museum will host a Virtual Summer Art Camp series through the summer that is free to attend.
The series will feature eight unique weeks of themed camps, with the first week starting June 7 to 11.
Each of the eight camps will include five activities and three live Zoom classes with an art instructor. A materials list will be provided in advance of each camp, and activity instructions will be provided prior to the first day of each camp.
The theme for the first week is Eco/Nature Art, and will focus on items that one might find in a yard (i.e., rocks, shells, sticks), kitchen (beans or veggies), or possibly discarded. Instructions will be provided on how to turn these items into works of art.
