A Marion County woman was arrested after being accused of attacking a woman who poured her alcoholic beverages down a sink.
Marion County sheriff’s deputies spoke with the victim on May 20, after she called and said 39-year-old Tricia Michelle Beegle was drinking heavily in the guest bedroom at her grandmother’s house.
The victim said that Beegle’s became upset and started hitting the victim when she started pouring the liquor into the kitchen sink. The victim showed deputies a red mark near her right shoulder which she said was caused by Beegle, a sheriff’s office report states.
After a witness confirmed seeing the attack, deputies spoke with Beegle, who was sitting outside by a swimming pool. After being read her rights, she claimed no physical contact occurred between her and the victim.
She was placed under arrest and transported to the Marion County Jail where she faces a charge of battery. She was initially being held without bond, according to the report.
