Bowling fundraiser for Marion County Search and Rescue at local AMF

A bowling fundraiser benefitting the Marion County Search and Rescue team will take place later this summer at a local AMF alley.

AMF Galaxy East Bowling Alley, located at 3225 SE Maricamp Road, will host the fundraiser on Saturday, June 26, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to participate is $30 per person, and the event is open to everyone.

The Forty Frame Tournament is the fastest growing type of bowling tournament in the nation. Special rules and unique scoring accompany the tournament, and will be explained to those who participate.

There will be a 50/50 drawing, raffles, and prizes, with cash awards and trophies given to the top three bowlers.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Marion County Search and Rescue Team, a non-profit organization providing volunteer search and rescue services. For more information on the organization, visit the Marion County Search and Rescue website.
