The Ocala Fire Rescue units were dispatched to a vehicle around 11 a.m. in response to a collision just blocks away from Station 3.
Engine 3, Rescue 3, Rescue 1, and Battalion Chief 22 arrived at the intersection of NE Third Street and NE Sanchez Avenue to find a black sedan with front end damage and a silver SUV on its side.
The silver SUV had a driver and two children strapped to their seats. Using the sunroof window, firefighters climbed through the SUV and removed everyone from the vehicle safely.
The driver and passengers in the SUV were transported to a nearby hospital and no other injuries were reported.
Ocala Police Department and Marion County Fire Rescue also responded.
