The Ocala Fire Rescue responded to an electrical fire at an east Ocala Walmart on Thursday.
Crews responded to a fire alarm at the Walmart located at 4980 East Silver Springs Boulevard on Thursday evening. According to OFR, a track light malfunction triggered the alarm.
While searching the interior of the structure, firefighters found the source of the problem in the electronics department.
Firefighters pulled ceiling tiles and accessed the roof to ensure there was no fire extension. Once the fire threat was addressed, units returned to service.
No injuries were reported.
