An Ocala woman is hoping police can identify and arrest an unknown man that she says has been stalking her motel room.
The woman says an unknown black male has come to the parking lot in front of her motel room multiple times and has made contact with her from inside his vehicle.
The woman says his contact is not wanted and she claims she made it clear to him multiple times. The woman reported the man approached her vehicle on May 21 and stated he had fifty dollars for her. The woman said she assumed he was trying to pay her for sex, so she told him she has a boyfriend.
The woman claimed the same incident happened again two days later, according to the incident report.
According to the report, the man appeared again on June 1 and the woman yelled at him to leave. She claims the man yelled back “Your time is coming!” She said she strongly believes he will be back again, and she fears for her safety. The woman said she wants to prosecute but has no idea who the man is, according to the report.
The woman was issued a Victim Rights brochure until management can use video surveillance to possibly identify the suspect. The officer advised the woman not to confront the man and if he returns, to call 911, the report stated.
