The Ocala Fire rescue promoted Ashley Andrews to captain on June 2 after a fire equipment operator with the department for 30 years retired.
Ocala Fire Rescue will be adding another retiree to their list. Fire Equipment Operator (FEO) Jesse Minor clocked out of his last shift earlier this year after serving 30.5 years at the rescue.
At the same time, Ashley Andrews earned a promotion from FEO to Captain.
Ashley has served on the rescue for nearly 14 years and is a certified Critical Care Transport Paramedic.
