Ocala Electric Utility will be hosting the 7th annual Ocala Youth Energy Academy on Thursday, June 24 at 12:30 p.m.
The virtual zoom event will expose youth to careers in electric utility industries related to science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, reported Ocala Electric Utility.
Participants can join from any device and $250 in prizes will be awarded during the event.
Ocala area youth in grades 8th-12th are invited to participate. Participants must register by June 4 online at Eventbrite and the event is free.
