Chick-fil-A opens for breakfast again, Ocala employers still hiring

Chick-fil-A opened its doors for breakfast again after closing a month ago on account of a staffing shortage.

The company, which is located at 3445 SW College Road, will now open once again at 7 a.m. to accommodate breakfast hours. They made the announcement through their social media channels

“The wait is over, Chick-fil-A breakfast is back,” reads a Facebook post from the company.

The company made the decision to close for breakfast hours in May after they experienced staffing shortages similar to those experienced by multiple businesses throughout the Ocala area.

Restaurants and businesses across SW 200, including Outback, Texas Roadhouse, Panda Express, and a slew of those in the mall, have all put out the call in recent weeks for employees as the area recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition to private businesses, multiple municipal departments and services have put out the call, including the Parks and Recreation Departments for both Marion County and Ocala, as well as the Ocala Police Department, Ocala Fire Rescue, and Marion County Sheriff’s Office, among others.
