The Marion County Fire Rescue placed a new E-ONE Ladder Truck in service at Belleview Station #18 on June 19.
“Truck Company #2” will be available to run calls throughout the south end of Marion County and beyond.
Deputy Chief of Operations Robert Graff stated, “A lot of work has gone into budgeting, designing, outfitting and acquiring Ladder 2. Having a Truck Company, Engine Company and 2 rescues at Station 18 will enhance the services that we provide to our citizens.”
Station #18 has consistently been the busiest fire station within Marion County. Each year, approximately 1,000 calls are run by firefighters from different stations in the Belleview area.
