Ocala Park Ranger hosting ‘Day in the Life of a Squirrel’ at Scott Springs Park

The Ocala Recreation and Parks Department will host new class to teach residents about squirrels.

Ocala Park Rangers will host A Day in The Life of a Squirrel on Saturday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Scott Springs Park. The class will take participants on an adventure of living life as a squirrel.

Scott Springs Park is located at 2825 SW 24th Avenue.

Using Project Wild curriculum, participants will learn about different local squirrels, lifecycles, what they eat and where they live.

The event is for children and teens between the ages of 6 and 16. Registration is required.

The cost is $10 per participant and tickets can be purchased online at The City of Ocala’s Wildlands Nature Adventures event page.
