Veteran receives tiny home from Arnette House, Marion County Veterans Council partnership

A homeless veteran was furnished with a newly constructed tiny home from Arnette House and Marion County Veterans Council last week.

The home, which was made possible through the support of a variety of local businesses and individuals, was presented to the veteran on July 1 during a ceremony at Ocala/Marion County Veterans Memorial Park (2601 E Fort King Street).

The home will be placed in the community established at the Veteran’s Village in Fort McCoy, Florida. Veteran’s Village is a non-profit veterans urbanization that is owned outright and operated by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).

For more information on the facility, visit the VFW Veteran’s Village website.
