Stanley Joseph Nauseda, 89, of Ocala, FL, passed away on 15 July 2021 in Ocala, FL.
Stanley was born in Chicago, IL on 26 April 1932. Stanley served his country in the Korean War achieving the rank of Technical Sergeant in the US Army. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge (CIB) and the Purple Heart. After his discharge in 1952, he worked as a printer’s apprentice before becoming a custom drapier in Chicago.
He was a member of the American Legion.
He enjoyed driving across this great country seeing its beauty and meeting people along the way. He returned often to his favorite place, Hayward, WI to fish for walleye and pike on the Chippewa Flowage.
Stanley is survived by his wife Eleanor of 61 years, brother, Al Parlich of Harrisburg, Illinois; daughter, JoEllen (Fred) Hoyt of Citra, FL, and grandson, Scott (Catherine) Hoyt of San Antonio, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for prayers for this country which he loved and fought to protect.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. July 30 at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513.
