Ocala’s First Friday Art Walk, which will return this September, is still accepting applications for artists.
The deadline to submit an application to participate in the upcoming series is Saturday, July 31.
The Ocala Cultural Arts Department made the announcement through social media.
The first scheduled walk is set for a little bit over a month away on Friday, September 3. The series will run through May 6, 2022.
Dozens of local artists and organizations participate in the First Friday Artwalk, which takes place throughout the streets of Downtown Ocala.
Many of the businesses around the Downtown Ocala Historic Square offer extended hours and specials during the event.
