Ocala Park Rangers hosting conservation class at Fort King park

A new conservation class taught by an Ocala Park Ranger is coming to a local park.

On Friday, August 6, Ocala Park Rangers will host a conservation class at the Fort King National Historic Landmark and Visitor Center. The class will begin at 9 a.m.

The lesson will focus on conservation strategies and will provide fun, interactive games to help people understand how to conserve natural resources.

The event is open to for children ages six through sixteen. Tickets are $10 per child.

Fort King National Historic Landmark and Visitor Center is located at 3925 E Fort King Street.
