Jeffery Lynn Vaughn was born on May 6, 1948 to Richard and Edythe Vaughns.
Jeffery was educated in the Marion County Public School System, graduating from Howard High School with the Class of 1966. For his higher education he attended Virginia Union University, in Richmond, VA.
His Religious Affiliation was of the Methodist Faith and he attended Mt. Tabor African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Jeffery was enlisted into the US Army in 1968 and was Honorably discharged in 1974. His time included a tour of duty in Vietnam
He was married to Bernadette Roundtree-Vaughn.
Jeffery had a wealth of knowledge and worked as a Handyman.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Edythe Vaughns.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife  Bernadette Roundtree-Vaughn of Ocala; three sons, Keith gamble Vaughn of Maryland, Eddie Roundtree and McKenzie Roundtree, both of Ocala; two  daughters: Monica Fleming and Joyce Roundtree, both of Ocala; one sister, Vickye Vaughns (Greg) Geathers; six brothers, Leonard Taylor of Ocala, Richard Vaughns of St. Petersburg, Marshan (Sandra) Vaughns, Levy Counly, Vincent (Herbertmae) Vaughns of Sparr and Kenneth (Marie) Vaughns, of Minnesota; three grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces,  nephews, other relatives and friends.
Public viewing for Mr. Jeffery Vaughn will be Friday, August 6, 2021 and Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Summers Funeral Home, 2238 NW 10th Street. Ocala, FL. 34475
Celebration of Life services will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Tabor AME Church, 5410 NW 27th Ave. Ocala, FL 34475
Final Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell Florida.
