Jerry Lee Stark, 76, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on August 18, 2021 in Ocala, Florida.
Jerry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to James Franklin Stark and Lilian Sweet Stark on October 16, 1944. He attended Mt. Dora High School and later enrolled in the Engineering program at Central Florida Junior College. Jerry retired from the Ocklawaha United States Postal Service after 25 years. He enjoyed golfing and watching the Gators play football, but his true passion was hosting and cooking at family gatherings.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Peggy Stark of 51 years, his two daughters Tiffany Thomas and Danielle Stark, three grandchildren, Frankie Thomas, Riley Roberson and Rayden Roberson all from Ocala, Florida, and many more nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Lilian Stark, his sister Marie Delaney, brothers Robert Stark, James F. Stark jr, Chuck Stark, and his twin brother Larry Dee Stark.
A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held 6 p.m. Aug. 26 at Roberts of Ocala Downtown Chapel, 606 SW 2nd Ave., Ocala, FL 34471.
