Navy conducting live tests at Ocala National Forest site

The U.S. Navy is warning residents in the area that bombing tests will take place again in the Ocala National Forest.

The Pinecastle Range Complex will host live test training on Wednesday, September 1 according to the U.S. Forest Service.

“Animals may become displaced by the noise or ground tremors, which can lead to them crossing roads more frequently. Take care when driving in the National Forest on September 1st as this training is carried out,” reads a post from the U.S. Forest Service of Florida Facebook page.

The navy regularly conducts tests at the complex, which is technically located in Altoona, Florida.
